Congregational Meeting
Pastor’s Report- Rev. Lansford Lawrence            
May 25, 2010- January 23, 2011
 First let me thank you for giving me the opportunity to work along with you and you with me. Since we began ministry together on May 24, 2010 we are all filled with hopes and great expectations for renewal and growth. St. Peter’s church is surrounded with many opportunities for effective ministry, which can only be accomplish through the support and cooperation from each and every member of the church.
Installation- My Installation service were held September 14, 2010
Stewardship- Stewardship Month Observed
Weddings-There were two weddings.
Baptism- One Baby and one Adult were baptized.
Confirmation-Presently there is one Confirmand in class.
New Members-Seven new members were added to the membership plus Maria and I.
Memorial- Thirteen members were remembered on All Saints Sunday.
Death- One member died, Clara Marie Wagemann died November 7, 2010.
Advent- Advent reflections were held.
Members Appreciation-Members Appreciation was held.
Duties –Thanks to all who carried out their monthly and weekly duties.
The theme for the Year 2011 is Community Outreach, which we hope will build up the body of Christ. SPIRITUALLY, NUMERICALLY, FINANCIALLY and FAMILY FELLOWSHIP, there are nine areas we will be working on during the Year. And need the support of every member.
We work together on the following nine areas for the Year 2011.
1. Prayer for  our Community churches one per month.
2. Friendship Evangelism, encourage each member to pray for friends, neighbors family and co-workers, and others (To be launch February)
3. Meals for the sick encourage members to cook a meal for someone who is sick and may need help.  (Jane Staiger)
4. Home Prayer meeting, Pastor can be available to have home prayer and study in the home of any member or others upon request.
5. All church groups are encouraged to include in their plan aspect of Community outreach that fit within their aims and objectives.
6. Reach out to inactive members, and those who have pass through confirmation class but no longer attend church.
7. Have a Monthly Members profile in the Church’s News Letter. (Begin 2.1.11)
8. Public relations, share our programs and activities with the wider community through the Missouri Mid-South Conference, Republic news paper, Springfield, Aurora and St. Peters Website, (Sherry Coker, Mary Kastendieck)
9. Speakers from the Community to speak for ten minutes to our congregation on important programs for the community, e.g. Cancer Society, Red Cross, Salvation Army etc.
Church Activities
Regular Sunday morning worship ,Tuesday Morning  Bible Study, Choir Practice, Committee meetings, Church Board meeting, Men’s Fellowship, Friendship Guild, Sunday School. Members Class, Confirmation Class.
Conclusion:
I encourage each member of St. Peter’s church family to grow together in fellowship and cooperation as we fulfill God’s purpose together, Remember Jesus call us to be “Fishers of men and women” even as we prepare for Lent reflections. Let us work for growth during the Year 2011.
